What is a Nitrogen Generator and how does it work?
The air we breath is approximately 78 percent nitrogen and 21 percent oxygen, a small amounts of other gases, such as neon, and hydrogen make up the other 1%. A nitrogen generator is able to produce a continuous uninterrupted stream of nitrogen gas from clean dry compressed air. It uses a Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) bed where oxygen and other trace gases are preferentially adsorbed and the nitrogen is allowed to pass through.
